More on the Sord M5
I’ve been searching the internet for information on the Soord M5, but while there are a large number of hits on Google, there is not a great deal of technical information, unless you can speak Czech…
I’m trying to find the pinout for the power supply so I can builld a replacement because the Sord M5 I won on eBay didn’t have a power supply. The PS connector is a 6-pin DIN and the voltages are +5V, +12V and -12V so if I can work out which voltage goes to which pin I should be able to build a replacement easily enough. I did find a schematic in my searches so I should be able to use that to determine the voltages required on the pins of the power connector…

Hello,
I’m sorry to say that the author of the Sord M5 fan page died recently. The page is supposed to move to some other server but who knows if it will be taken care of by someone else.
If you find something you would like to have translated from Czech feel free to mail me.

I am sorry to hear that. I have a site that could be used to host the page if you know anyone who would have access to the source files. There looks to be a lot of information there and I would hate to see all his work disappear.
As far as translation - ideally I’d like all of it translated! ;^) But I will look at the site again and contact you with a few select pieces that look interesting. My main interest at the moment is finding accurate information on the pin-outs of the power supply so I can build a replacement as my Sord did not come with a power supply.

I will ask my friends if they have the necessary information. After all, I am looking for the cassette and joystick ports pinout.
As a last resort I can maybe take apart my power supply and take some photos of the inside, if it helps you.
