So what?s the cut off for Amigas?

At this stage I wouldn't really get too hung up about what is in or out to be honest. The video game side of things is easier to define (pre-crash) but home computer has a slightly more flexible definition in my mind. All
Commodore Amigas
are fine (up to and including the 4000) as are all
Atari STs
. In my personal collection I count the early
Macintoshes
, mainly because I really wanted one back in the day. Where would I stand on the
Archimedes
? Hell yeah - they were darn cool machines.
NeXT
? You can bet that I wouldn't hesitate to add one to my collection. Early
SUN
and <silicon Graphics
boxes? I'm not too sure...

So to recap: Anything
Commodore
,
Atari
,
Sinclair
and pre-PPC
Apple
; anything with 8 bits or less; anything that could reasonably be called a Home Computer through the 80s; and anything I want in my collection! ;-)

Of course I didn?t appreciate them at the time? but that?s a different story;-)

Sounds like it might be a story worth hearing...?</silicon>

So what's the cut off for Amigas? I know it should be the 500, but dangit, I love my A1200;-) What might be cool to add to the site is a repository for all the old Amiga demos. Those guys did some amazing things with those. Of course I didn't appreciate them at the time... but that's a different story;-)
